In your role as a Network Engineer, you make the impact we have on our customers measurable. You work for leading brands within the Valtech IT Infrastructure function and feel at home in a challenging, international environment in which you collaborate with other experts and support them.

What you do

A seasoned Network Engineer with 6+ years of industry experience with below spread of skills set.

Hands-on with Troubleshooting, Upgradation & Maintenance of Palo Alto/ Juniper/ Cisco Firewalls. Cisco / Meraki Switches, Routers, Wireless Controllers, APs. Azure / AWS VPC / GCP / M365 services. Core / L3 Switches, 802.1x, SD-WAN, SSL, IPSec, VLAN, TACACS+, RADIUS. Work experience on MacOS, Win 10 / 11, Sophos XDR. Good knowledge of Python, Ansible, GIT, Code Integration, XML, SSH. SDN, Cloudflare, Other DevOps tool)
EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, Cisco Call Manager.

Eager to learn new things, strong communication, collaboration and team working skills within a multi-national team. Proactive position in problem-solving, result oriented and end to end responsibility

Preferred certification:
CCNA / CCNP / PCNSA / JNCIA-Junos, ISO 27001 / ITIL / CEH Certification

What we ask for

Providing local network support to all Valtech IN offices & will also be part of Valtech global network team to support Valtech global offices. Support & maintain Network Infrastructure in On-Premise & on AWS / Azure Cloud. Issue resolution and escalation handling of support tickets via IT ticketing system. Network monitoring & reporting of complete network hardware / virtual-appliances hosted in On-Premise and Cloud. Work / Co-ordinate with other local and global IT team members to address related network issues & document necessary information as per internal processes. Work with Internal and external customers for requirements gathering for network setups, co-ordination, issue resolutions / escalation handling. Liaison with third parties to address issues that may have dependencies (vendors, service providers & third parties). Upgrade / Patch network hardware / virtual-appliances periodically, performance tuning and security hardening.
